In order to implement the Shanghai Municipality’s Provisions on Immovable Property Registration and further improve the information transparency of handling of immovable property registration and cadastral map update in Shanghai, the relevant matters concerning the provision service standards for updating cadastral maps in Shanghai are hereby announced as follows:
After the immovable property registration agency has reviewed the application for immovable property registration and recorded them in the register, the results management and title surveying and mapping agencies will immediately incorporate the title survey results and the registered items into the immovable property registration and house and land surveying and mapping results management database to ensure the real-time updates of cadastral maps (parcel maps and house plans) of registered parcel of land, and the updating time limit is reduced from 5 working days to 1 working day.
As from today, the time limit for updating the cadastral map will be disclosed through Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Resources official website, WeChat official account, notification and other forms, the time limit for immovable property registration and cadastral map update of Shanghai is available in http://ghzyj.sh.gov.cn/2011/yhccdjyshjzl/, the Column of Optimizing Property Registration Business Environment on the official website of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Resources.

II. Time limit description
1. “Working day” excludes statutory holidays and weekends.
2. If it is found that the application registration documents need to be completed and corrected during the review, the time limit shall be calculated from the completion date.
3. The tax payment period, announcement, announcement objection verification period, on-site visit, and correction registration notice time are not included in the handling time limit.
4. If the submitted materials contain the registration of notarized documents, the registration of inheritance and bequest, and objection registration, the time limit will not be available, and the relevant time limit shall be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Shanghai Municipal Technical Regulations on Immovable Property Registration.
